Victor Anichebe came of the bench to salvage a point for west brom against chelsea.
The big Nigerian striker was introduced toward the end of the second half after Branislav Ivanovic’s late first half strike gave the Blues a slim lead at the break.
Anichebe's well placed 87th minute header ensured the title winning ambition of Jose Mourinho’s men suffered a massive setback as they failed to extend their lead at the summit of the EPL log.
Chelsea though had some chances in the second half to put the match beyond the reach of west brom they failed to capitalize on those chances and were made to pay for it.
The blues still maintains top spot, but could move back to third position if arsenal and man city wins their respective matches.
